You might know me as the founder of Flat Pack FX, a Youtube Community of 100,000+ video creators just like you. But i’m also a Motion Artist with over 10+ years experience working in the Film/TV industry.

I Was A University Drop Out
I know it sounds like a cliché to be the university drop out that then go’s on to chase his dreams and passions… but its true!
I went to university to study Accounting & Psychology all whilst I was cleaning swimming pools as a part time Job. Life was pretty mundane, I really wasn’t enjoying what I was studying and wasn’t looking forward to the road ahead.
Well after a year, I realised that university wasn’t the best fit for me, so I decided to take a gamble and chase my passion… so I headed to film school.
It was here that I met a fellow minded creator (a real true friend) and our first video production business was born!
My Experience Level Exploded!
Up until this point I had only been shooting and editing videos on the side but once I fully committed, my experience level exploded!
It was here over the next 10 years that I learnt how to use After Effects, properly shoot videos, direct and create Animations for paying clients.
Eventually growing our business into one of the top video production companies here in Perth.
Serving Others Through Flat Pack FX
Equipped with the knowledge It was time to venture into my next passion… teaching! It was here that I started my Flat Pack FX YouTube Channel and my life completely changed.
I never really thought YouTube would become a full time hustle but I guess every one on YouTube says the same thing...
The truth is Flat Pack FX has become more than a way to teach creators how to use After Effects… it has become the outlet for my passions, interests and community.
Now It might have taken me years to learn my craft and make money, but you can actually get started a lot faster than I did starting right now!
